I highly recommend thrift stores for a source every store in my area usually has multiple cassette decks in stock and I never see them priced for more than $10. There are many good used decks that can be found on the cheap out there, pretty much all you need is patience and a bit of research and you can easily find something decent within even the smallest budget. The NR Yes/No check marks are for indicating if you recorded the audio to the tape using any form of noise reduction (they are only there to serve as an extra reminder for you in case you had forgotten since recording the tape). Nearly all blank cassettes came with sticker sheets- they allow you to write the title and other information onto the cassette (not really necessary for ones with solid color shells which could be written on directly with a Sharpie if need be but with transparent ones like the Maxell UR tape you have there, it definitely helps the text stand out when it's on the sticker). let me know if your label is interested in making a comp here. j-card artwork maker - by /u/unixispower.Labels, blogs and other by /u/insaniaeternus resourceful links: R/cassetteculture represents the following:Ģ020 entry-level cassette deck guide by /u/vwestlifeīuying a tape deck in 2018 Viable in 2021 too!
